Cover the reception area, and be the face and voice of the company for visitors and employees alike.  Provide administrative support to management and assist in various departmental activities and events.


  • Greet and welcome all visitors ensuring a positive, professional image of Ocular Therapeutix.
  • Manage the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail/delivery communication - both internally and externally.
  • Conduct health screening training and facilitate the check-in process as required for employees and visitors.
  • Partner with administrative staff manager to provide administrative support to key leaders in the organization, including scheduling group and individual meetings with internal and external parties. The role may also involve filing contracts accurately in an electronic data base; track incoming documents for Finance in excel spreadsheet, and other support tasks when needed. 
  • Some event coordination, and support behind special events to order food, receive deliveries, and assistance with set up, etc..
  • Maintain consistent inventory levels for office supplies and break room; ordering as necessary.
  • Participate as needed in special department projects and ad hoc requests
  • Orders business cards for new hires.
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma required, Associates Degree in a Business field or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience in office management or administrative function
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated
  • Time Management
