Greet visitors at the reception area.  Provide administrative support to management and assist in various departmental projects The successful candidate will be able to succeed in a fast paced environment, be flexible, and have multitasking skills to manage competing priorities. In addition, this role will also provide backup support to the Building Manager when they are out of the office.


  • Greet and welcome all visitors ensuring a positive, professional image of Ocular Therapeutix.
  • Manage the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail/delivery communication - both internally and externally.
  • Conduct health screening training and conduct process as required for employees and visitors.
  • Assist with the management of the phone directory
  • Schedule meetings and interviews as requested.
  • Assist in new hire desk set up
  • Support special events by ordering food, providing both assistance and set up.
  • Assist with the creation and management of access cards
  • Maintain consistent inventory levels for office supplies and break room; ordering as necessary.
  • Participate as needed in special department projects and ad hoc requests
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business field or work experience equivalent preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience in office management or administrative function
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Time management
  • Calendar Management
  • Work experience in a GMP environment preferred
  • Some experience in AutoCAD and/or Graphic Design a plus
