  • Overview

    Provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing various clerical functions. 

    Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support primarily to the CFO and will assist the CEO as needed.
    • Manage and interface with Boards of Directors on behalf of the Executives. Work with various committees such as the Audit, Compensation and Governance.
    • Set up and manage Board of Director meetings and dinners.
    • Provide support by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; and initiating telecommunications.
    • Maintains Executives’ appointments by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
    • Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
    • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
    • Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.
    • Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • 8+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant for a C-Level Executive.
    • Writing Skills, Reporting Skills, Microsoft Office Skills, Organization, Time Management, Presentation Skills, Travel Logistics, and Verbal Communication.
    • Experience with setting up Board Meetings and Events.
    • Experience in the biopharmaceutical field including a solid understanding of the drug development environment.
    • Experience working in a public company environment.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information.
    • Exposure to investors, non-deal road shows, investment banks, IR/PR firms and raising capital in various forms a plus.
    • Must be a team player and able to promote a positive culture.
